Sorry, I got derailed reading all the wonderful smut swap fic when instead I should've get my signup done and up. *shakes head*
That means this letter is a work in progress for the time being, my plan is to complete before the assignments get sent out anyway.

Much of this reflect my tags so I'm unsure if it would be helpful, besides this is going to be all over the place so I apology in advance for my messy ODs.
I enjoy any rating, I also love every genre, I like domestic and light stories, but I slightly tend to prefer darker settings (as long as it's not in my DNWs, go for it), angst with happy ending, hurt, a lot of character hurt (I'm a sucker in particular for Steve hurt and recovery stories), optional but welcome comfort, romance (first times, getting together, friends or enemies to lovers are favorites of mine), happy (or at least hopeful) endings.
I also like what-if scenarios, plotty and long stories, characters showing instead of saying 'I love you', tough characters making themselves realistically vulnerable, competence, loyalty, codependency, reciprocal protectiveness, me-and-you-against-the-world (particularly relevant is the Canon AU All Superpowered People Get Hunted Down/Killed tag), character going through traumatic experiences, supportive friends, rough sex, I like all my m/m ships with the partners switching with no strict top/bottom roles, though occasionally I've a soft spot especially for bottom Steve stories.
For many of the tags I had Steve in mind (he as Jason Bourne or the Winter Soldier/prostitute/sight unpaired/sexual slave character in AU Slavery). About the Fusion AUs, feel free to veer off as much as you like from the borrowed canon. Feel free to ignore this, but in the event you like to write this sort of thing, I enjoy stories where I can't foresee the next steps in a story.
About Canon AU Legal Slavery, my take is Steve waking up to a similar but dystopic future where he's considered property instead of a person because he signed-up to be part of the SSS project, and because of this SHIELD is a way greyer or dark-intent kind of organization, and the story starting off from this plot point. But it could be every low ranking military or super powered people considered as property or, I don't know, I'm really open to any other angle you feel like to explore. Same about the Canon AU Super Soldier Program Failed/Worked Differently, I'm open to any take, though a take I enjoy is when the serum didn't work as effectively as they expected. So Steve kept the ailments and impairments as long as the gained strength and resilience, or he got a switch on/off button, where he turns back into his skinny!body whenever he doesn't need to tap into his powers or is unconscious, or he gained the strength and resilience but hadn't got his body mass built up to go with them, etc etc. About A/B/O I love it when the requested pairing isn't the perfect Alpha/Omega match but they make it work because their feelings for each other are more important. Or, I also enjoy the take where they are both Alpha but biology be damned, they'll be together and bottom for the loved one because they want to make it work, and are able to.
I just really ask you to avoid gen/pre-slash, my slash ships portrayed as friends or fuck-buddies (I like them with a romantic bond), any background ships (I've some NOTPs :( ), bad endings, friends portrayed as enemies: I'm sorry but it's a huge DNW for me, so if it's a Canon AU please avoid Civil War canon, Civil War line-ups, friendship breakups or whitewash that they're-best-buddies-with-the-other-member-of past-and-present-Avengers; I'm more of a the-Avengers-are-a-big-happy-family sort of fan. Everything else is fine with me.
